There are those who through their art and science reveal the wonders of our Kingdom to those who are not there to see it with their own eyes, and The Crown honour the skill and service of these gentles with the Order of the Lens (formerly the Order of the Camera Obscura). To honor that service, in the 58th year of the Society, Aonghus and Ginevra created the Order of the Camera Obscura (now registered as the Order of the Lens). It is awarded for excellence in cinematography
